Do you put up with an overactive bladder? Do you need to regularly stop what you're doing so that you can go to the bathroom? Have you tried to do other things to prevent these visits to the bathroom? Most people believe that any sort of bladder activity occurs because of the amount of liquid we take in. This is exactly what makes more and more people inadvertently dehydrate themselves when they're trying to calm down their bladder activities.

Would you believe that it can also be the solid foods that you eat that can contribute to your "pee breaks" during the day? The simple fact of the matter is that those "pee breaks" are usually simply a way to rid your body of waste. You will make this waste material from both fluid and solid foods. What you excrete can be from something solid or liquid, no matter which form it took when you ingested it.

Vitamin C is very necessary for fighting off an infection but it can also be a major factor in irritating your bladder. This is mainly due to the fact that plenty of citrus fruits are made up of acid and that's why they need to be avoided both as solids and as juices. The major sources of this acid are generally pineapples (which isn't technically a citrus fruit but is just as irritating to your system), lemons, tangerines, grapefruits and oranges. Instead, stick to fruits like bananas, pears, apples and berries for your Vitamin C ingestion.

This might seem a little bit traumatizing but if your bladder is overly lively, you shouldn't consume a lot of chocolate. Caffeine is in chocolate. Your bladder does not enjoy it when you consume caffeine and will reward you for this intake with lots of trips to the bathroom. The very same holds true for caffeinated liquids as well. When you make a lot of visits to the bathroom during the day try to reduce your caffeine intake. Instead, learn how to like dark chocolate and also decaf coffee (or soda).

Foods that happen to be especially spicy can upset your bladder quite a lot. This could be hard to accept for people who like spicy meals but if you don't want to spend your entire night running to the toilet, you want to avoid the foods that are spiciest like wasabi sauce, spicy nachos, etc. If ingesting the food leads to your eyes and nose to get runny, it is going to make other parts of your body runny. The fix is straightforward: pick foods that aren't as spicy--this way you can get the same good tastes without irritating your bladder.

We normally are convinced if it's fluid when it comes out it should have been fluid when it went in. This isn't 100% accurate. What comes out of our bodies is actually the parts of what we have swallowed that our bodies cannot use and it releases that extra stuff (also called waste) in whatever manner is the most convenient for it.
